Full Time Fire Department staffed 24/7 operating 3 stations protecting approximately 23,000 residents bordering the Towns of Littleton,Chelmsford,Tyngsboro,Groton,Acton,Carlisle.
The Department has 2 outlying stations manned 24/7 with an engine staffed with 2 Firefighter/Emts
The Center Station is manned 24/7 with usual shift of 5-6 Firefighter/Emts and in the process of going ALS 24/7
The Fire Alarm office for the Dept is also The Fire Control Point for District 6 which is responsible for mutual aid responses and assistance to 16 area cities and towns.
